PRIVACY POLICY

Your trust matters to us.

Effective August 27, 2026
This policy explains how Project Bright Cornerstone, LLC handles information through our public website, MyClassroom Planner, and other services that link to this policy.

1. Scope and who we serve

This Privacy Policy applies to Project Bright Cornerstone websites, MyClassroom Planner, and related support communications (collectively, the “Services”). It does not govern third-party websites or services that we do not control.

MyClassroom Planner is designed for authorized adult educators, school staff, and administrators. It is not intended for children to create their own accounts or submit information directly. Schools and authorized users are responsible for determining that they have the appropriate authority, notices, and permissions before entering information about students or families.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, role, school or classroom name, password credential in protected form, and multi-factor authentication status.
  • Planner and classroom content: lessons, schedules, tasks, appointments, notes, messages, uploaded resources, student roster details, family contact information, and progress information that an authorized user chooses to enter.
  • Communications: information included when you contact us for support, request a demonstration, or ask a privacy question.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, sign-in events, timestamps, security events, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and protect the Services.
  • AI requests: prompts and supporting details submitted voluntarily through the AI Lesson Helper. The feature is optional and only sends a request when an authorized user chooses to use it.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain the Services; authenticate users; organize classroom information; deliver requested features; respond to support requests; prevent fraud and misuse; troubleshoot errors; protect accounts and data; improve accessibility and reliability; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use student information for targeted advertising.

4. AI Lesson Helper

When an authorized user chooses the AI Lesson Helper, relevant prompt content is sent to our AI service provider to generate the requested draft. Users must not submit passwords, API keys, medical information, student photos, parent contact details, or other unnecessary sensitive information. MyClassroom Planner is designed to remove certain obvious identifiers in selected workflows, but users must still review prompts before sending them.

AI output is a draft and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Users are responsible for reviewing facts, scripture references, educational suitability, and wording before using or sharing an AI-generated response.

5. Site Vault

Site Vault content is encrypted on the user’s device before it is stored. The separate vault password is not sent to or stored by Project Bright Cornerstone. Because we do not possess that password, we cannot recover encrypted vault contents if it is forgotten. An administrator may reset a vault, but doing so permanently deletes the encrypted vault entries for that account.

6. When information may be shared

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, support, or operate the Services, but only for those business purposes and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security expectations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the safety and rights of users or others, to investigate misuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of business assets with appropriate notice and safeguards.

Within MyClassroom Planner, information may be visible to other authorized users when the person entering it chooses a shared setting or when an administrator’s role permits account management. Private content remains subject to the access controls provided by the Service.

7. Student and school information

Schools and school administrators control the student and classroom information their authorized users submit. Project Bright Cornerstone processes that information to provide the Services and does not claim ownership of it. Schools are responsible for configuring access, managing staff accounts, providing required notices, and responding to parent or student requests when applicable.

If a school requires additional contractual privacy terms, including a data processing or student-data agreement, it should contact us before using the Services with regulated student records.

8. Retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and security records, meet contractual commitments, and satisfy legal requirements. Retention periods may differ by data type. Authorized administrators may delete or archive certain records within the Service. A school or account owner may contact us to request an export or deletion, subject to identity verification, contractual responsibilities, backup cycles, and applicable law.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted connections, password protection, role-based access, optional multi-factor authentication, restricted server access, and operational backups. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect their credentials, recovery codes, devices, and vault passwords and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

More information is available in our Security & Data Practices.

10. Your choices and requests

Depending on your location and relationship with the Services, you may have rights to request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain processing. School-managed users should first contact their school administrator. Other requests may be sent to the address below. We may need to verify identity and authority before completing a request.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
